Description: Designed in 1967 many of the Cylinda Line wares are still in production today. This iconic modernist design is in every conceivable modern design or Danish modern design book, and many major museum collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, the Philadelphia Museum of Art , the Cooper-Hewitt Museum of the Smithsonian Institution, and the Brooklyn Museum. After the initial production there were additional items added to the collection, but this version of his ice bucket is no longer produced. This marks on the bottom indicate that this example dates from the early 1970s and bears Jacobsen’s initials as shown.
