Description: Another great modern design by Karl Hagenauer.  These are rarely found and we have only seen two others.  It is Illustrated on page XX of the 2011 exhibition catalog Hagenauer: Wiener Moderne Und Neue Sachlichkeit . Marked on the bottom “Handmade”, “wHw” mark, “Made in Austria” and “Hagenauer Wien”. An illustration of this ashtray can be found on the official Hagenauer website which dates this design to the 1950s.  This ashtray is a heavy and well-made object that competes with Aubock objects.
