Condition: Overall good to very good. One is very good with only light scratches. The other has much more noticeable scratches on the face as shown.

Description: Here is a pair of Curry’s earliest bookend designs in simple angled steel with applied images. These appeared in the earliest Design Line catalogs from 1966/67. They must have been popular in their time because we have seen some other period bookends that look similar, but that cannot be found in the original catalogs and the construction is slightly different. It is getting very hard to find these original and authentic examples. This model was also produced in solid colors. This pair is in good condition with a nice bright and vibrant colors but with some noticeable surface scratches. One retains its original small and early round label. They are heavier for their size than they appear, each weighing in about one pound each.
