Description: Here is the scarcer Dansk flat-lidded long trinket or jewelry box designed by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk and made of teak wood.  This version has a great modernist and beautifully fitted lid.  Correct early branded four ducks Dansk Denmark mark, along with Quistgaard’s initials.  This model is harder to find.  We were not able to find this in the Dansk catalogs or published advertisements.  Therefore, we believe it was probably only made for a short period of time, and then the design changed to a narrower, shorter and peak-handled lid.  These later versions were mostly made later in Thailand and in great numbers.  Great Danish modern design.
