Description: Here is a vintage and quite rare large Fornasetti wooden hinged lidded cigar box with his famous Venetian jewelry decorations on all sides.  It has an original early green felt bottom with an authentic gold embossed label in the felt that has survived the years, as shown.  We have only seen one other of this design, but that example used black as the ground color, but using the same jewelry decorations in the same colors.  These hinged wooden cigar boxes are getting very hard to find in any decoration.
