Description: An outstanding highly stylized and very rare art deco dinner bell, using a stylized fish as the handle.  Although we have seen other animal forms used for their bells, we have never seen another like this one.  However, the rendering of the fish is the same as a pair of bookends we also sold.  It has the “wHw” and “Made in Austria” marking stamped on the bottom of the clapper as shown in the photograph.    

Condition: Very good with age appropriate patina to the nickel-plating
