Description: Here is another set of rare and amazing machine age art deco period bookends fabricated to appear as some type of industrial factory machinery involving rolling sections, such as a press of some kind. These bookends are made from bronze with a beautiful patination, and are each assembled from four pieces. The two rollers are each inset into the panel and then the bases are screwed on. These are very heavy and solid objects, each weighing in at over three pounds each. We have only seen one other pair of this design that was being retailed by a now retired important 20thCentury Design dealer in New York City.
