Description:  Don Shoemaker has often been called the George Nakashima of Mexico. Although he was an American he moved to Mexico after World War II and settled there with his family. His designs and objects are of the highest quality and becoming increasingly popular and collectable. Here are a pair of his most famous designs, his salt and pepper shakers that were called his “elephant” design and sometimes referred to by others as his “yin yang” design. These appear to have been a staple production for the firm as many were made and they are commonly found. But they are a great design at an affordable price.

Condition: Excellent. Cork stoppers dried out.
