Description:  This sculpture is number 34 from an edition of 100.  It was created for the Cancer Ball benefit.  It is signed in the base Kramer.  Kramer is a listed American artist from Baltimore, Maryland.  As a sculptor he is best known for his depictions of the human figure, including portraits of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall and Maryland Governor William Schaefer.  His work has been exhibited at the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, the Walters Art Gallery and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.  His sculpture of Justice Thurgood Marshall stands outside the Edward Garmatz Federal Court House in Baltimore, Maryland and its unveiling in 1980 was attended by six of the US Supreme Court Justices.

Notwithstanding the fine art that this sculpture represents, it would also be an excellent dresser accessory for holding and displaying jewelry such as rings, necklaces and bracelets.
